Maisha’s #MondayMotivation: Let’s Change the World

I, like many of you are saddened by the state of our country today. We wake up to the devastation of our communities and it seems that we forgot why it happened. This is history repeating itself. For me, I think its time we, ALL OF US, learned from historical repetition and find a way for our black men to STOP being murdered by the police.

One of the ways we can change the future is through us, the entrepreneurs. We have a way of seeing a problem and creating solutions to it. Just like the social preneurs I wrote about in March, new ideas will sprout from this awful time and this senseless violence will stop.

Till a solution is found, please take these quotes and be motivated to make a change today. We can do this!

Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced. – James Baldwin

We still have so far to go with this issue. It’s something that we want to work on proactively, not reactively. I can’t stop.
